Sam Jones is a community of faith that welcomes guests as a part of our church family. From the very start, people feel right at home. We celebrate God's love and seek to serve our neighbors.
Welcome Center
The Sam Jones Welcome Center is open each Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center, room F-100. Friendly volunteers are ready to help visitors and members access information about our programs and activities. Children and youth attending for the first time will register here. Stop by and experience the warm hospitality of the Sam Jones Welcome Center.
Where do I go?
We offer a variety of worship styles on Sunday morning that reflect the rich diversity of our congregation. We also have two Sunday School sessions for all ages at 9:45 and 11:00.
Traditional Worship
The two Traditional Services are held in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00. These services include liturgy, choirs, responsive readings, children's sermons, and much more.
Celebration Service
The Celebration Service is a contemporary and blended style of worship held in the Family Life Center on Sunday mornings at 9:45. The Celebration Hall rocks to the sound of a full band and praise music. Multimedia presentations and video help illustrate the sharing of God's Word.
What about my children?
Children are a very important part of our church family. We provide loving childcare for infants and toddlers at all services. Sunday School classes for all ages are offered at 9:45 and 11:00. The Traditional Services also feature a "Children's Sermon" and "Children's Church."
How should I dress?
With the broad range of people worshipping at Sam Jones, we have people coming in every type of attire. Some wear their "Sunday finest" while others dress much more casually in both the Traditional and Celebration Services. Bottom line, wear whatever feels comfortable to you! We're just glad to have you join us.
