WORSHIP AT SAM JONES

Traditional Worship
Traditional services are held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00 in the Sanctuary.

Each week we worship God in a traditional United Methodist style in the sanctuary. The ministers wear clerical robes and stoles, and our worship leaders include acolytes and a crucifer.

Our music is led by our Adult Chancel Choir backed by our newly renovated and enlarged 31 rank Reuter-Coulter pipe organ. Brass and woodwind instruments as well as our handbell choir also provide music for this service.




Communion
In the United Methodist Church, we observe an "open table" which means that all believers--regardless of denomination--are invited to the Lord's Table.

Holy Communion is celebrated in the Sanctuary on the first Sunday of each month during the 8:30 traditional service. Everyone is welcome to attend. Communion is also celebrated 5 times a year in the 9:45 Celebration & 11:00 Traditional services.
