Sam Jones Memorial UMC is committed to the purpose of providing educational and social experiences for children in an environment of acceptance and love that enables them to grow in spiritual awareness to become Disciples of Christ. Children of all ages have the opportunity to participate in many activities and programs throughout the year. Volunteers are the key to successful ministries for children.

Children's Time and Children's Church
8:30am and 11:00am Worship Services

• Children's Time takes place in the chancel area of the Sanctuary and allows the children to participate in worship with the worship leaders
• Children ages 3 - 5 leave after Children's Time to go to Children's Church for the remainder of the worship service
• Children's Church is staffed by trained volunteers

Children's Sunday School

• Kinderchoir (4 to 5 year old children)
• Primary Choir (1st - 2nd grade)
• Junior Choir (3rd - 6th grade)

• Preschoolers (3 years old through Kindergarten) meet in Room F-203
• 1st and 2nd grade meet in Room F-201
• 3rd graders meet in Room F-302 and finish in Room F-301
• Puppet Ministry (4th-6th grade) meets in Room F-304
